The Cupboard into Narnia.....

Following on from my rant about Letting Agents and their total inability to do anything productive and helpful I set about on my mission to locate the gas metre in my flat which I believed to be in the cupboard under the stairs.

Well, I entered said cupboard, navigated my way over the Dyson Vacuum Cleaner, around the step ladder, past the set of drums (hardly used but cannot be discarded) over the suitcases and empty boxes, possibly required for certain appliances on the basis they may break, to the back of the cupboard where I know the electricity metre resides. After all that effort and climbing I had to stop for a breather and luckily had remembered to bring supplies in case such a situation should occur. Once the supplies were consumed and energy levels restored I started to try and locate my gas metre. Imagine my dismay and horror when I found the gas metre does not seem to live in the cupboard under the stairs with the fuse box and the electricity metre. After standing there for about 5 minutes moving the same three boxes out of the way over and over again just to be sure, I stopped Mr Tumnus on his way back to Narnia to enquire if he had seen it on his travels, apparently he does not recall there ever being one in there so I am back to square one with this hunt. If I can't find it I may have to resort to accosting a neighbour in the hall way to see if they have any more information. I will of course keep up the efforts to locate the metre but my focus has been removed from this and the paying of bills to the panic that I may have mislaid me Peter Kay tickets (Emily if you read this don't panic yet, I am almost sure I know where they are) I have a feeling they may be in one of the drawers under my bed if not then the next step is to go back to the old house and check there. Fingers Crossed, as I really don't want to have to pay out more money for tickets I already have.

On Friday night I went out with the lovely Miss Emily Green, her ever extending family and friends to a charity band night at the Rifle Club in Portsmouth. I can say that I had a brilliant time, consumed plenty of alcohol and laughed loads. I always seem to have such a good time when I am out with them all. I think I was well behaved, I don't remember doing anything to disgrace or embarrass myself which has got to be a first for me!! I did very much enjoy chatting with the boys, its not very often I get the chance to do a bit of harmless flirting so I tend to make up for it when I do!! haha! Who knows one day it might actually lead to something but right now I am not going to hold my breath!! haha!!

I am off to Fat Club tonight, I am not 100% convinced there will be a big loss this week but I am feeling slightly slimmer if that is possible so you never know.

Until next time xoxo
